Soooooo he actually still denies it to this day (don’t you Ash?). But let’s back track a little here. To how the story started. One evening at Muse in Uppermill Ash Wildman publicly declared his love for my style of photography and told me that when he gets married, I would be his photographer. Now at this stage there was no ring (as Anniken clearly pointed out).
Anniken is such a beautiful human with a beautiful soul, who I have had the pleasure of knowing for many years. She had always said that when S H E gets married it would be in her home country of Norway and that I would be her photographer. Can you imagine? I was like hurry uppppp and get engaged. Haha. So, let’s fast forward a month from the (he still won’t admit it) A S H conversation and I get a message from Anniken. He finally put a ring on it (well..tried..long story). But the point is that the message said ‘Joooooooo…get ready..you are coming to N O R W A Y’. O to the M to the G.
So, off we went to the E P I C beautifulness that is the Losby Gods Hotel in Norway. They made their forever promise surrounded by an outrageously E P I C tribe of their favourite humans. It was so special and beautiful and yes I took them for a joy ride in a golf buggy for some epic lake images. Please don’t tell my insurance as I am sure that was highly illegal, but we laughed until we cried for the entire journey. So, sometimes risks are worth it. Welcome to T H E I R wedding adventure, to their world. To the beginning of their forever. It started right here.
Welcome to this E P I C location. Welcome to Stock Farm. Oh my days. W H A T a location and W H A T an adventure. James & Jo got M A R R I E D in a boho-festival-esque-style of a wedding day. I’m talking flower crowns, never ending veil M A G I C with florals, Moroccan rugs lining the aisle and a super relaxed vibe. The bride arrived at the venue driven by her dad in the most perfect white vintage car. To marry her handsome & hilarious Welsh man surrounded by 150 of their favourite humans. We had blue skies, then rain, then blue skies and H A I L. Cancel the wedding..it’s raining!?! No no nooooooo. How about run through the rain, laugh under the hail and embrace with grace whatever the day gives to you. Come rain or shine this wedding was nothing short of E P I C. My story T E L L I N’ style of photography was a perfect match for my couple. They wanted laid back, natural and flow-eeee vibes. We made M A G I C and here is a sneak peek at their wedding adventure.

Hannah & Rishi met when they were studying at Manchester University. Rishi said that Hannah definitely fell in love with him when he brought a stack of vegetarian cakes to her birthday party. I think there was some candle/cake melting disaster, which we won’t go too much into. But he thinks this was when he stole her heart. The proposal story was almost as hilarious. He was convinced she had discovered the ring and uncovered his secret plan. Honestly! You cant make this up. So, what was meant to be romantic turned into a moody proposal. Hannah burst out crying when her proposed and clearly had no idea. Thankfully she said Y E S and they M A D E it to this B E A U T I F U L, perfect and M A J E S T I C day. A unique fusion of Indian and Jewish elements woven into the fabric of a traditionally English wedding. The coming together of culture, families, friends, food and music. All bound together by L O V E. These two make me believe in the happy ever after. They are M A G I C in motion. So, here it is. Their incredible day. Wishing my two wedding B A B E S, the Kapoors, a beautiful first anniversary.
OMG. Where do we begin? Ian & Rachel. The Rowlands. Their wedding day was U N R E A L. They absolutely smashed it. Rachel got ready at her family home with her amazing bride tribe. They had the most perfect church wedding. The groom cried as soon as he set his eyes on her walking down the aisle linking her dad. They spent the entire service smiling, laughing and gazing at each other. They were so excited to be finally doing this. T H E I R day. Their mini moorland shoot rocked my world too. They were missing Whit Friday because of their honeymoon and my bride had N E V E R missed one before. So, they brought their very own brass band to their venue. The Diggle Band were amazing. Rachel made an amazing conductor. They danced for me as the sunset. We captured some beautiful sun-kissed moments. Thank you for being my amazing wedding B A B E S. Love you guys.
